Established in 2012, Ahava Medispa’s founder Dr. Ron Israeli quickly realized the potential and power of the medical spa concept – bringing medically-supervised, state-of-the-art skin health treatments into a luxurious spa environment with a passion for “red carpet” customer service. Determined to establish and grow this new venture, Ahava is now Staten Island’s premier medispa and the only one featuring Ultherapy.

Dr. Israeli was raised in New York, and attended the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in NYC. He received a B.A. in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. While at Hopkins, Dr. Israeli was involved in ground-breaking cancer research, publishing extensively on interferons, which are naturally-occurring cancer fighting molecules. Dr. Israeli then received a scholarship and attended and received his medical degree from SUNY Health Sciences Center at Stony Brook. Next, he spent several years training in General Surgery at SUNY Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, followed by a two year prostate cancer research fellowship award from the National Cancer Institute to work at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
