Scott is from Bagdad KY and went to University of Kentucky for pre vet before attending Auburn University where he graduated as a doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He came to work for Central Kentucky Veterinary Center in 1985.He married his wife Sue in 1987 and they have 2 children Shelby and Sanford. They reside outside of Georgetown with their dog Sally, cat Rose, horse Lacy and donkey Don Quixote. Scott enjoys UK sports, kayaking and the continued study of veterinary medicine topics and techniques.
