Dr. Bernstein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Upon completing a BA in Neurobiology at Cornell University, he obtained his Dental Doctorate from the Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in 2003. He earned his Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Michigan in 2006.

Dr. Bernstein expanded his implant training by completing course training at the Carl Misch Institute. His practice is focused on Advanced Regeneration, Implants and Digital Dentistry. He has been involved with several research projects conducting trials for implant and bone augmentation, and is currently continuing his research in the field of immediate implant-based full mouth restorations. Additionally, he leads small group education forums for local dental professionals.
