Steven C. Mirabello is Board Certified and specializes in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Mirabello was the first Orthopaedic Surgeon on the west coast of Florida to perform a cartilage transplant. He has recently published several papers on shoulder surgery and the examination and treatment of the shoulder. Dr. Mirabello works closely with MLB organizations and MLB players.

Dr. Mirabello is currently the director of the Sports Medicine Program at Tampa Bay Spine Specialists, the Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Toronto Blue Jays and the team physician for other sports teams.

Dr Mirabello performed surgery on my husbands shoulder with outstanding success!! The only issue I had was with the front office. They told me the anesthesiologist may not be in our network but that they would accept the fees as if they were. They said all you had to do was call and they would adjust accordingly. When I called with the necessary info, they said they do not. Big difference in cost! Too worried about collecting the co pay in office and especially at surgery center.
