Dr. Agesen grew up in Essex County. He lives in the town where he grew up in essex county with his wife and four children. Following his fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Electrodiagnostics and Epidural injection procedures, Dr. Agesen worked briefly as an attending at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, New Jersey. He then joined Associates in Rehabilitation Medicine for four years. Dr. Agesen then started New Jersey Sports Medicine, LLC with doctors Malanga and Bowen. His clinical interest includes sports medicine, electrodiagnostics and treatment of acute and chronic tendon, ligament and joint disorders. He also enjoys treating acute and chronic back conditions.
