Dr. Thomas Murphy was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Canfield, Ohio. He earned his D.D.S. degree in 1983 from Loyola University in Illinois and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at MetroHealth Medical Center. Dr. Murphy is board certified through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been in private practice at the Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Inc. in Westlake, Ohio since 1988. Presently he holds active staff privileges at Fairview Hospital. Dr. Murphy previously held a teaching position at MetroHealth Medical Center and was the former section chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Fairview General Hospital.
