Dr. Van William “Rafe” Knox became a board-certified veterinary radiologist in 2004. Prior to that, he graduated from Princeton University with an AB in biology and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine with a doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After completing a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery from The Animal Medical Center in New York and spending five years in private practice in Maryland and Pennsylvania, Rafe returned to the University of Pennsylvania for a three-year residency in veterinary radiology.
