Dr. Wieslawa Pekal joined Cancer Care of WNC, PA in 1997. Dr. Pekal brings a friendly, colorful personality along with a brilliant mind to her oncology and hematology practice. She is known for her diligence and concern with each patient’s wellbeing and history.

She completed her undergraduate work at the CUNY – Hunter College in New York City. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Brooklyn and completed her internship, residency and fellowship programs at Tufts University School of Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
