Gerald R. McNamara, MD became a part of Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic in June of 1996 but have been in practice since 1983. He earned my undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Arizona, Tucson and completed my orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in orthopaedic surgery.

In 14 years, Dr. McNamara have been the team physician for local professional indoor soccer teams, The Comets and The KC Attack.

Giving back is important to me and he has participated with Tarhawks Charity Surgery for many years participating in multiple medical missions to Nicaragua. In March of 2010, he was awarded the Menorah Medical Center First Humanitarian Award. In December 2012, 2013, and 2015 he participated in Operation Walk USA providing knee replacements with other nursing and hospital volunteers.
