BEST EVER!

Dr. Smoot is a smart, highly skilled surgeon + also a very kind & thoughtful man. He’s supported by excellent staff who mirror his integrity, high standards & character. I rest easily knowing he’s still there should I, &/or others, ever require his superb care & tenacity. For me, Dr. Smoot & crew were definitely the silver lining in every cloud we encountered on a 2+year journey to complete wellness following a complex injury. At times, when I’d feel ready to give up, they were right there- offering unfailing expertise+encouragement. Dr. Smoot saved my foot/ankle, now pain free. LOVE HIM!

I am very I am very thankful that I found Tx. Orthopedics. They have tooken great care of me, and have come through with the promises that they gave me on my surgeries. When Dr. Smoot asked me to trust him it was hard for me because I don't trust just anybody especially a surgeon cutting into my body. But after discussing the surgeries with him I realized he's not just an ordinary surgeon. I felt like he understood where I was coming from. And When I saw that, he won my trust. They've made me better.that I found Tx.

Dr Smoot Review

I'm bone on bone in my right knee. However, since I have some lower back nerve damage I have reduced sensitivity in my right leg. The knee is stiff but not in pain so I do not require pain meds or Advil. Dr. Smoot is not recommending surgery but is treating me with injections to reduce the stiffness. I like that he is taking a less invasive approach to help with my problem. Wife wife had both knees replaced by Dr Smoot and we extremely happy with the results. I would highly recommend him.

I have absolutely no pain.

I was so surprised to see the negative review on here for Dr. Smoot. In 2006 I had an avulsion fracture and was so terrified that I had to get surgery. Dr. Smoot was reassuring and even agreed to do a fiber wire suture instead of pins in my foot because I was so worried about the recovery process with pins. He had excellent bedside major and the entire hospital treated me kindly even though I was a nervous wreck. I would highly recommend him, even 10 years later. My foot has healed nicely and I have absolutely no pain.
