Dr. James Tinnin received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics from the Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University. He returned to Northwest Arkansas in 1997, where he joined his father in private practice. To further advance the education he received in implant dentistry at Boston University, he attended The Misch International Implant institute. He received a certificate in Surgical Oral Implantology from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2005.

He is a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honor dental organization. Dr. Tinnin enjoys playing guitar, fly fishing, and mountain biking, but most enjoys spending time with his children Marin and Canyon, and his wife Christie.
