Dr. Luke Liu is board certified in both pain management and anesthesiology. He received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in the accelerated degree program in 2004. His anesthesiology residency was completed in 2008 at UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco, California. He then continued his medical training at UCSF completing his Pain Management Fellowship in 2009. He moved his family to Anchorage in 2011 and continued his practice at Alaska Regional providing both anesthesia and pain management care. He joined the AA Spine & Pain Clinic team in 2015. His clinical interests include regional anesthesia, critical care, anesthesia for thoracic surgeries, trauma anesthesia, and interventional pain management. Dr. Liu has been in practice for 11 years. He enjoys running, tennis, hiking, karate, Chinese calligraphy, Taiko (Japanese drumming), digital photography, home improvement projects, and spending time with his family.
