Dr. Eppley is dual Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ABOS) since 1993 and is CAQ Board Certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine with specialization in injuries to the shoulder and knee. The Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) is awarded to a select few orthopaedic surgeons who have qualified for this distinction.Dr. Eppley has been the lead orthopaedic surgeon for the University of California at Berkeley athletic teams for 18 years. His duties include sideline coverage and travel with the CAL football team. He is the Chief of Orthopaedics for the CAL Student Health Service.
