Upon graduation from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1972, Dr. W. “Ron” McIlwain, D.M.D., acted as chief resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He stays very active in his profession and involved in numerous organizations including the 6th District Dental Society and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

He is a member of the DCH Regional medical staff, where he has previously served as Chief of Dental Services, and Healthsouth of Tuscaloosa. Dr. McIlwain has approximately 22 years of experience in field of oral and implant surgery.
